Application Process

STEP 1.  COMPLETE THE PRE-APPLICATION 

The Pre-Applications is the first step in applying for a scholarship. Find out everything you need to know about what Capital Guardian Youth Challenge has to offer and what the application process entails. Anyone can attend, however, students must be present during the orientation in order to submit an application. The orientations are currently conducted weekly, online via Zoom. Register now for our next orientation. 

STEP 2. COMPLETE THE PHASE 1 ONLINE APPLICATION

Once the student has completed the Pre-Application has been completed, the student is now ready to schedule an orientation with our Admissions department, you may complete the Phase 1 Online Application.  Remember, the student must be the one that decides to apply for a scholarship. Once the Phase 1 Application has been submitted, an admissions representative will contact you to schedule orientation with the student and parent.

STEP 3.  APPLICANT INTERVIEW

 

Once a student has completed the Phase 1 Application, a staff member will reach out and schedule a one-on-one Zoom interview.  Applicants will receive an email with the Zoom link for the interview.  You will be informed of application deadline during the Program Orientation.

STEP 4.  SUBMIT THE PHASE 2 APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

 

Once the interview is completed and it is determined that the applicant is eligible to move forward in the application process an admissions representative will contact you to begin the Phase 2 Application.  The Phase 2 Application is largely comprised of supporting documentation.  A student's application cannot be considered for acceptance until a complete application has been submitted.
